Hello! :)
I am finally back from California, and what an awesome trip we had! I was gone for a week and a half, it sure went by quick. I left from Top Gun to Southern California. We made a couple of stops and visited with some friends, also rode at a couple tracks. I had a great time! I arrived at Pala Raceways in Temecula, California Thursday afternoon. When we arrived I walked the track with my dad, and it looked super fun. It was all sand and was over a mile long. It consisted of uphills, downhills and some huge jumps. I didn't race till Saturday so in the mean time I got some exercise and mingled with some other WMX pros. They were all so kind and very welcoming! It definitely helped take away some of the nervous feelings I had.
As the big race drew closer I was amazed to see how much support I had from the northwest. It took away a lot of the pressure. It was awesome having all my sponsors, friends, family, and competitors wish me luck and give me advice. By the time I lined up for my first moto my nerves had turned into excitement. I want to say thank you to everyone who gave me encouragement, it meant wonders to me!
Now to the racing, Saturday morning came before I knew it. There were thirty-two women signed up, but only twenty-nine made it to Pala. By the end of practice twenty-eight raced. I was surprised how rough the track was, I have never seen or rode a track that rough in my life! Even the announcers kept talking about how it was the roughest track in the whole circuit. Both motos I went out there with a positive mind set, and didn't set any expectations for myself. It was a privilege to be out there with the top women riders in the World! Both of my motos I placed 21st..I knew I could have done better, but the track was extra challenging. At least I know what I have to work on to go into next year to be top ten speed or better. Pala was an eye opener and I enjoyed every minute of it! Now the real work begins. :)
Thank you everyone for all your support,

Top Gun Team Shootout
Welcome back everyone,
I finally found time to post a blog about my wonderful time at Top Gun September 3rd-6th at Washougal MX. There was racing Saturday-Monday and it was a blast. Alot of my family, and close friends came up and watched me race. Not only was the track in great condition all weekend long but there were activites that took place after racing. Such as tug a war, and the goon races! During Top Gun teams from all over come to compete. I was on the Thursday Night Motocross team, we ended up getting 5th place! A couple people on my team got injured and I pray for a speedy recovery to both of them.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I placed 1st overall in the womens expert class. All the girls did great. I wanted to give Brook Whipple a shoutout. She fell in one of her motos Monday and hurt her knee really bad causing her to be off the bike for a while. Get well soon Brook!
Thank you everyone!

The "next" step
Hello once again! :)
I have some very exciting news that is coming up very soon. I am moving up from the amateur ranks to the pro ranks on September 11th! I filled out the paper work, and I am just waiting for the hard copy. My first pro race will be in So Cal at a track called Pala, which is the last round in the AMA Lucas Oil outdoor nationals. Turning pro is going to be very eye opening, but only in a good way. I am so excited, and I am ready for a change! I have been training for years to finally reach this caliber.
But now that I got that out in the open, I wanted to share some other news!
Yesterday 8/1/10 I raced PIR on their extended track and went 1,1 in the women's class.
Also Beaverton shared good news with me on Thursday that I will be receiving two 2011 kx250's! Beavertons new commerical is finally airing (that I'm in a little) check it out! :)
Thank you everyone for all your support!
Keep checking back for updates.

My first Title! :)
Washougal Nationals was on Thursday the 22nd. I went there with one goal, and one goal only. To win my first national title. In order to do that I knew what I had to do! Stay focused, ride smart, fast, and stay positive. The first women's moto I got a 3rd place start but ended up winning by 10 seconds! The second moto was a little different. My competition and I battled the whole race till about a half a lap to the checkered flag, I finally found her weak spot and took advantage of it! I shot to 1st place and was gone. I wasn't going to let anything get in my way of winning my 1st National Title! As I crossed the finish line I let out a scream and had a permanent smile across my face. As soon as I got off the track, my mechanic and I loaded up and headed to Portland International Raceways for the huge anniversary race! There also I went 1,1. I also got to see my 1st commerical that I stared in for Beaverton Motorcycles. So cool! That Thursday was a blast, and probably a day I will never forget! :)

Update!
I'm back! :)
Lately I have been racing every Thursday at Portland International Raceways, practicing during the week, and going to the gym. I've been training for Washougal Nationals, in hope for winning my first national before I turn pro. The Washougal National which is the 22nd of July and the anniversary race at PIR (Portland International Raceways) is the same day! Definitely going to be a busy day for me, but also a very exciting one. I have been very impressed with my new 2010 Kawasaki from Beaverton Motorcycles which has been nothing but a joy to ride! I can't wait for the 2011 Kawasakis to come out. I have taken every win so far down in Portland in the womens class since the seasons started, in april. My team mate Krista Buck has been doing well too, also rounding out the top three.
I'll keep everyone updated! :)

Hangtown Nationals 2010
Hello everyone,
I just got done with racing at Hangtown. I placed 2nd in the Women's AM class but had the fastest lap times. I also got every holeshot thanks to the Beaverton Kawasaki! The Intermediate class I got a top ten start, and finished mid pack. I wanted to give a big shout out to the Dirt Diggers, they make the impossible possible. All of them are so nice and made us feel at home. On the way down there I thought I was just going to ride one day (Thursday, my race day,) but I ended up getting alot of seat time.(It sucks because I only brought one pair of riding socks! haha) I rode Tuesday for practice, Wednesday I did a news show at 6:00 a.m. with Sherri Cruise #3 in the world. We had the track to ourselfs for hours, it was a blast! Thursday I raced, and finally Friday I did another news show with Ashley Fiolek, Sherri Cruise, Andrew Short, and Ben Townley. Getting to know Sherri and Mikki Keller was a great opportunity. This trip has been nothing but a dream come true. I also wanted to thank my new clothing sponsor Off-Road Vixens. Their clothes are awesome! :) That about wraps it up, I will post new pictures, and the news video on here soon!
Thank You for all of your support!

Beaverton Motorcycles & Thursday Night Motocross!
I wanted to give a big shout out to these two great sponsors! Beaverton Motorcycles has been stepped up in a huge way and gave me a great deal on kx 250 2010, and I am LOVING it! Their shop is the biggest shop in the Pacific Northwest, and has a great staff! I am very proud to represent them. Also the last few weeks I have been racing Thursday Night Motocross in Portland. Every Thursday I head down there to race, and to see everyone! It's always a blast, and the track is very fun but also safe. It's defiantly an all skill level track, oh do I love my Thursdays! (: Rick & Ron do an awesome job of putting it on, and making sure everyone is having a good time racing. These guys are great! Thanks for all the support!

Outdoors Is Here!
Over the weekend of March 6th and 7th I raced my first outdoor race of the season in the Tri Cities, at Horn Rapids MX for P.R.O Series! I was both nervous, and excited! Everyone was anxious to start off the new season with a bang! Thankfully, I was one of them. Both days I dominated the Women's Class, taking 1st every moto by a big lead. I also raced the Intermediate (boys class) for my first time! That was a blast! Surprisingly my first race, I was 4th to the corner! But ended up finishing 23rd out of 34 boys! Over the whole weekend, I didn't go down once, and stayed consistent and strong! I want to thank everyone for all their support! :)

Hello Everyone!
I am sorry I haven't been posting many blogs..I have been busy with the holidays, and of course training! Hope all of you had a great Christmas and New Year! I have been going to the gym regularly, and training indoors with Brandon Thomas! I raced a few races at Clark County indoors in Vancouver. I was winning the JR classes, and women classes. I was getting hurt quite a bit. Had to take a trip to the hospital once, almost twice. So i decided not to race indoor, only practice. We are hopefully going to make a trip down to California this month for about two weeks to do some training! My speed is increasing, and hopefully I will do good when outdoor starts! I am looking forward to a successful new year!
