Back in business :)

Hello everybody,
I have been back on the bike for about two months now and I couldn't have asked for a more successful recovery. I have full movement in my shoulder and it can handle pretty much anything out on the track now, which makes me very happy! I'm back to the race pace, but I am continually working on getting faster and stronger out there. Enough about me though, I wanted to give a shout out to everyone that has helped me stay positive and get me back to 100 percent again.

The long road to Recovery.

Hello my followers. :)

As you know, this season has had a rough start but I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Its been a little over two months since my surgery on my shoulder and things are looking up. I have been working with my personal trainer for almost a month now, and I am in my second week of physical therapy. My shoulder is finally getting strong, but not yet just strong enough to handle the impact of jumps and bumps. I am ready to go in about three weeks! I am so ready to be back at the track and ride my motorcycle.
See you all soon,

Positive Thoughts. :)

Courtney Springer crash

Takin a hard spill

Hello everyone!

Last weekend was the first and second round of the P.R.O. series at Horn Rapids motocross complex.

On Saturday March 5th I took a hard fall. It was the first jump of the first lap of the women's moto was when the whole weekend went downhill. The track was very rough which made the faces of the jumps get pot holes in them. I didn't see one of those holes when I hit the face of the jump. Next thing I knew I was getting tossed off my bike and landed right on my left shoulder. I went to the hospital immediately after my fall due to the fact I couldn't lift my left arm.
When I got home after the weekend I went to the orthopedic doctors Monday and they checked out my x-rays from the hospital. I was told right away my shoulder was a grade 5 out of a 6 being the worst which means I need surgery right away. Next thing I knew I was getting surgery the next morning. I am now on the road to recovery and will be back in about three months.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers and kind words..

Happy New Year!

Welcome back,
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!
Its a start of another year which means it's time for some fresh goals and time to push myself more than ever! This year is going to be my first full year of racing the WMX outdoor nationals, and some other small pro races on the side. I am ready to start training on and off the bike non stop. I have been practicing indoor, but now it's time for me to get outdoors again! This is also the year I graduate from high school so a lot of my focus is going into that. 2011 is going to be great and if everything works out in my favor this will be my break out year. Thank you everyone for all your support.
Keep checking back,
