Thursday Night Motocross - Race For A Cure

Welcome back,

This week I raced Thursday Night Motocross, Race For A Cure to support the great cause. It was my first time I was able to make it out there this year and it was a great success.

My grandpa who was my number one fan passed away the night before my race. He was so excited and eager to watch me race at PIR and to see me on a bike again. My family and I are so sad by the great loss of my grandpa, he always at every one of my races possible. So that night I went out there with an excessive meaning to my races that night. I rode my heart out for him and I ended up getting 1st place in the Women's Expert class and 6th in the BTH Amateur class. I felt confident and focused, knowing that tonight I was racing my heart out for him. My whole family came out that night because they knew that's what my grandpa would have wanted. It was a very emotional night for my family and I but I couldn't think of a better way to come back into the scene, with passion and determination.

I am already looking forward to my next race!

Keep checking back :)

My first race back in 2012

Hello everyone,
This past weekend I raced at Straddleline ORV for the first time in over a year. This was possible because Procaliber.com supplied a bike for me. I was so happy to be able to race again and get some gate drops under me this year!

I raced the 450 BTH  class which is the intermediate men's class age group on a 250f. I placed 4th overall in that class. It felt so great to be on the bike and still be able to represent ProCaliber! Plus the track conditions were great. It rained a little in the morning but it made it perfect for a day of racing. Straddlelines crew has worked so hard to get the track where it is today and it shows! There were great ruts forming and the dirt was tacky, making it easy to go fast without hesitation. I had a blast out there and I can't wait to get back out there on the track and do it again!

I am planning on making it to TNMX Breast Cancer race this Thursday in Portland! Hopefully I will do well for my second race back this year! Hope to see you out there.
Thank you for tuning in. Keep checking back!

Procaliber.com

Hello Everyone,

I am writing today to inform you that I am now back on the bike. It has been almost a full year since I've had my own bike and it’s been over a year since I've competed.

This time off the bike has allowed me grow in more ways than I thought possible. With time to focus on me and my personal growth, I have gained knowledge in other aspects of life that I wouldn't change. I have also grown more love and respect the amazing opportunity I have been given. It means so much to be coming back into the amazing sport of motocross. I have had my time off from my strict training on a day to day basis and now feel refreshed, mentally prepared and eager as ever.

This second chance at my dream and my number one passion wouldn't be possible without the support of Procaliber.com and Travis Richards. He is taking a chance on me and helping me out this year and hopefully more years to come. I currently work for Procaliber.com, but I am grateful and honored to ride for them as well. I look forward to representing Procaliber.com and making them proud on and off the track!

I will see you at the track! Keep checking in for more blog posts and race stats.

Thank you for your support.
